Always Searching for The Shot

My love of photography is eclipsed only by my love for Africa. My childhood was spent close to nature,
and I see detail and inherent beauty in what is untamed and wild. I love to capture this beauty through
my lens. Given the opportunity, I will pursue the perfect shot to do justice to the beauty I see.

CAPTURING MOMENTS AS THEY HAPPEN

When we are young, we are ready to believe anything.

In my case, I was ready to believe anything in films. I remember watching Hollywood movies that had death scenes that appeared so real that I was convinced that actors had to volunteer to be shot to take part in the film. Instead of shocking my young mind, I found this to be an extraordinarily beautiful idea: sacrifice in the name of art. These actors were ready to make the ultimate sacrifice for their art. I realised that I wanted to be the same. If I wanted to be a great photographer, I would need to sacrifice for my art.

My hope is that my photos can make a small difference in our fragile world.

I hope to inspire others to see the beauty that I see.
